This is Me
Rachel has always been a mover, literally and figuratively. From twirling in a tutu at age 3 to setting volleyballs in college, her life has revolved around movement. She danced her way through childhood until 16, when she faced the ultimate dilemma: pirouettes or power plays. Sports won the toss, and Rachel went on to play volleyball and softball at the collegiate level.
She studied Sports Medicine/Kinesiology in her undergrad and holds a Master’s in Project Management. Rachel’s path seemed destined for a career in athletics, and life, as it often does, had other plans. Through a series of unexpected twists, bold moves, and personal challenges, she found herself in IT. While climbing the corporate ladder, she never stopped learning, picking up certifications in nutrition, personal training, spin, e-RYT500 yoga teaching, Reiki, and somatic energy practices.
Now pursuing her master’s in yoga therapy and Ayurvedic medicine, Rachel is a certified trauma-informed yoga therapist and passionate advocate for mental health. Whether speaking at schools or presenting to corporations, she uses her voice to break the stigmas surrounding mental health and suicide awareness, opening hearts and inspiring change.
As the founder of The Mind.Body.Soul® Method, Rachel created Nurtured Soul Studios, a trauma-informed, integrated, and applied holistic sanctuary for healing through barre, somatic, yoga, yoga therapy, and community. Here, she invites others to confront their stories, unravel their strongholds, and heal their traumas. She’s also the designer of transformational programs like Soul Essentials®, Shake Your Chakras® and Poses for the Performer, blending science, soul, and just the right amount of sass. She also published her first book From Shaky Starts to Solid Souls: Daily Affirmations to Steady Your Heart and Fuel Your Soul.
Rachel Lee lives in McHenry County, IL, with her sidekick, City (a lovable yellow lab who might steal your shoes but will never steal your joy). She is unapologetically single, child-free, and deeply committed to living life her way, one breath, pose, and laugh at a time.

To heal, you MUST focus on the work…
This is where I come in.
Through deep dedication and relentless effort, mentally, emotionally, financially, and spiritually, I have emerged from life’s trials and tribulations transformed. From Rachel 2.1 to Rachel 2.2, my healing journey has been one of profound growth and evolution.
There was a time when I felt stuck in self-doubt, lacking self-worth, and questioning my value. With an unwavering commitment to bettering myself, I have cultivated the tools, written impactful resources, and worked tirelessly to turn my breakthroughs into a way to guide others.
I have created a holistic healing sanctuary, a yoga and barre studio rooted in safety, trauma-informed practices, and a deep sense of community. From our in-person courses to our online community, we focus on nurturing growth, love, and connection while offering a space where healing unfolds. I have also created a safe container that weaves in my trauma training, yoga therapy, somatic work, nervous system regulation and much more to bring you the tools and techniques I was once taught and learned.
As a certified yoga therapist working towards my master's in yoga therapy and Ayurvedic Medicine, I integrate evidence-based somatic practices, trauma-informed techniques, and energy work to create transformative experiences.
I guide clients in recognizing limiting beliefs, nervous system dysregulation, constitutional alignment, energetic shifts, feeling and processing emotions, and healing traumas through embodiment and integration. Allow me to share the co-created tools and practices that have profoundly transformed my life and are now helping others reclaim theirs. Together, we will create a path to lasting healing, balance, and growth.
